Olulu

Olumide Holloway, better known as "Olulu, the King not from Zulu" is a Writer, Poet and Spoken Word Artist. He loves reading, writing, dancing, making people happy and generally having fun. He is passionate about Spoken Word Poetry and his dream is to make it a big industry where poets can earn a very decent living from their performances.


He is the promoter of WORD UP, the biggest Spoken Word Poetry event in Nigeria that holds on a quarterly basis (February, May, August and November of every year). 

He is the promoter of War Of Words, a slam poetry competition that holds on a bi-annual basis (June and December of every year).
He is also a co-organizer of Chill and Relax, a monthly Performance Poetry and Spoken Word Open Mic Event that holds in Gbagada, Lagos, Nigeria.
He is a regular performer at most Lagos open mic events such as FREEDOM Hall, TARUWA etc. His is also a member of a Performance Poetry group named, "CODE."
He believes everyone should do what they love, and love what they do. That way we can all be loving life and living in love, and get paid for building businesses around our passion.
